Featherstone Green Landscaping plans Consultation

E-mail Print PDF

You will be pleased to know that we have organised with The Council to have a consultation drop-in at The ARK in the PARK 62, Featherstone Grove, on Thursday 2nd February, in two sessions one from 3pm to 4pm and in the evening from 7pm to 8pm. This is a chance for EVERYONE around Featherstone and on Melbury to have their say on what they think of the Featherstone Green plans. Whatever your viewpoint you will be respectfully listened to. Please come along - if you can't make it please contact us with your opinions. Email Sue, Ruth, or post a letter through letterbox of 62. The Consortium has asked for a decision to be made before the End of February. The Residents Association Committee meets on 6th February and we can find a consensus so that the Consortium can be informed then.

Melbury and Warkworth Woods

Melbury & Warkworth Woods Residents Association is managed by a committee of volunteers all of whom live on Melbury or Warkworth Woods on the Newcastle Great Park, and who were elected at an Annual General Meeting.

The committee meet regularly on the last Monday of every month (with the exception of August). Membership of the Association is automatic to residents of both Melbury and Warkworth Woods and there are no subscriptions payable.

The Aims and Objectives of the Association are to represent the best interest of residents both individually and collectively, by liaising with the Consortium of housebuilders, Newcastle City Council and its Councillors, the Parish Council and other decision makers concerning the Great Park.
